Work underway on new Lake Nona Chipotle, Winter Park Fitlife Foods

Work is underway on two new eateries: Chipotle Mexican Grill in Lake Nona and Fitlife Foods in Winter Park.

Signs soon will be installed by Charleston, S.C.-based Anchor Sign Inc. at a new Chipotle opening in Lake Nona, according to an Orange County notice of commencement from June 16. The popular Mexican eatery will open in Vickrey Place, a 10,500-square-foot shopping center on Narcoossee Road next to Valencia College’s Lake Nona campus. Chipotle will join Starbucks, Hand & Stone Massage, Jersey Mike’s Subs and OXXO Cleaners in Tavistock Development Co. LLC’s $4 million shopping center.

Meanwhile, an interior renovation by Rhodes Building Co. LLC is kicking off at a new Fitlife Foods coming to Winter Park, according to an Orange County notice of commencement from June 14. Fitlife Foods specializes in prepared healthy meals, and is opening in the $30 million, 35,000-square-foot Lakeside Crossing retail complex at 110 S. Orlando Ave. that’s expected to be completed in July.

Lakeside Crossing is a project of Unicorp National Developments Inc. that’s also attracted tenants like Chuy’s Tex-Mex, Bulla Gastrobar, Kona Grill, CycleBar, Browneria, Spavia, Sage Dental and others.

Chuy’s Tex-Mex recently announced its now hiring for 175 jobs at this new restaurant.
